To help small businesses who are affected by the ongoing pandemic, Unilever has partnered with online shopping site Shopee to hold the annual #BeautyThatCares sale. From August 29-31, buyers can avail of discounts of up to 70% on Unilever’s beauty and personal care products whenever they add to their carts. A portion of the proceeds will go to Mano Amiga‘s Skills for Success Grant and Training Program.
Mano Amiga is an organization that empowers communities through education and development initiatives. They have programs that help micro entrepreneurs, such as sari-sari store owners and online sellers to start, sustain or scale up their businesses. Small businesses covered by Mano Amiga’s programs will also be given the opportunity to expand their trade online via Shopee’s selling platform.

We’d like to do our part to help Filipinos who are struggling to keep afloat,” says Dorothy Dee0-Ching, Unilever Philippines’ VP for Beauty and Personal Care. Ruoshan Tao, Marketing Head of Shopee Philippines adds, “We are excited to partner with Unilever to help MSME’s rebuild and grow their businesses. We will continue this endeavour to uplift and encourage Filipino small businesses.”

Limited Edition Kits and Special Vouchers
To make adding heart to cart more special, Unilever tapped several brand ambassadors to curate limited edition Beauty Care Kits that are only available during the three-day sale. Coleen Garcia, Laureen Uy, Ylona Garcia, Aryanna Epperson and Vina Guerrero also designed special face masks for this campaign.
Aside from the discounts, buyers will also get exclusive vouchers (P300 off), free product samples, timed offers and hourly raffles with over 150k worth of giveaways. There will also be flash sales where products will be available for as low as P29.
