Great news wing lovers! The newest fried chicken place has just opened in town! WINGSTOP (WS) started serving its customers barely two months ago at its inaugural location along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City. The popular chain originated in good old Dallas, Texas in 1994. The idea was to serve the ultimate buffalo style chicken wings at an exceptional value . It’s a no frills, pay-as-you-order establishment that serves everyone’s favorite comfort food: chicken wings, chicken tenders and fries. Presently, the store which prides itself as being “The Wings Expert” and has 600 outlets worldwide.
SAUCE N’ TOSS
We arrived at the store quite hungry. Good thing Wingstop’s Marketing Manager Alexi and Store Manager Paula had already pre-ordered the bestsellers for us to try!
“The chicken wings are only cooked after the customer orders. There is no pre-cooking or reheating involved. The secret to the WS experience is really in the sauce,” explains Alexi.
TOP GUNS
Out of the sauce flavors that we sampled, here are our top choices.
There are no plates or silverware. The food is served on paperlined cardboard boxes. You can either dig in with your fingers or ask for plastic spoons/forks/knives or plastic gloves. We put the gloves aside and ate with gusto! Uncomplicated , bare-hand dining is the best! 🙂

THE BQP RECOMMENDS WINGSTOP
The Wingstop store has BonCon chicken to its right and Brothers Burger to its left. Quite the competitions, yes? Glad to report that the place is always full and is now preparing to open a second store in Eastwood City. The product is pretty straight forward – made to order fried chicken wings with exciting sauces and delicious dips. So if you’re looking for something new to try, make your next pitstop – WINGSTOP!

Must try for me is the Hot Buffalo. I am not really into spicy food, but the last time I have eaten a Bufallo wings, I have liked it. I wonder how it taste like.
The menu looks scrumptiously delectable so much so that i googled if there’s WS in my city (Vancouver, BC). It seems i still have to drive south of the border just to checkout their wings. Will give WS a go next time i’m in Seattle or Manila. Nice review, BQP!
Thanks for sharing. Will visit the Eastwood branch when it opens. 🙂 My sister loves wings!
Welcome!
