A Disneyland stay has always been a dream vacation for many Filipinos. My family has spent many Christmases and New Years in different Disney parks all over the world but Hong Kong will always be near (just an hour and a half flight!) and dear to us because it is the place where both kids first experienced meeting Mickey and his friends, the Disney princesses and other well-loved characters.

Starting November 14, 2019 until January 1, 2020, visit Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) to celebrate “A Disney Christmas” and make holiday wishes come true in perfect Hong Kong winter weather! With Frozen 2 from Disney Animated Studios released in theatres, Anna and Elsa will be bringing all the magic of Arendelle to make this Christmas truly unforgettable at HKDL!
At the “Frozen Fantasy Gardens”, the royal sisters will be joined by their snowman pal Olaf as they enchant both kids and adults alike. Guests will step into an awe-inspiring winter wonderland that will be filled with, snowy sights and glittering, shimmering lights. Snacks and merchandise inspired by the movie will be available . Do take note of the show time for “A Magical Frozen Snowfall.” You won’t want to miss out on songs from Idina Menzel (Queen Elsa’s singing voice) and Kristen Bell (Queen Anna).
Happy Holidays with Mickey and Friends
What’s a Disneyland experience without our beloved Mickey Mouse? At the Castle Hub Stage, a fantastic Yuletide musical celebration is all set to delight audiences. “The Mickey and Friends Christmas Ball” will feature Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and the rest of the gang. Get your photos taken with SANTA Mickey at The Annex! Duffy and Friends will also make the celebration more special. How about meeting SANTA Stitch? I bet you didn’t expect that!
Gather around the park’s iconic Christmas Tree and watch it light up amid a medley of carols and snowfall along Main Street USA.
What a Magical Feast!
Visitors at Hong Kong Disneyland will enjoy a wide selection of food and beverages. Over 70- themed eats and drinks such as premium sausage platters, mini snack boxes — even popcorn placed in Christmas Tree and Alien buckets are up for grabs. At the Royal Banquet Hall, guests can feast on a Christmas Dinner Buffet!
Go on a Disney Christmas Shopping Spree and Spread Some Cheer
Want to bring home presents for loved ones or purchase things to remember your stay? The park will be FULL of magical tidings for everyone! Over 300 seasonal items will be launched across the resort’s stores for guests to complete their Christmas shopping and get magical presents for their loved ones. In the shops are Mickey and Minnie plush toys (exclusive to HK Disneyland) and more than 90 Frozen-themed products. Young guests can add Arendelle Aqua colored soft merchandise to their collection! My little one has her eye on the Minnie aqua backpack and headband.
Stay at a Disney Hotel
The three nearby Disney hotels are ready to welcome guests. From now until December 26, guests will be given a complimentary cookie and Christmas towels. Families can also bond over arts and crafts such as Christmas card/ headband making.
Surprise your kids and book a stay at a Kingdom club Cinderella Suite (Imagine a room adorned with a blue pumpkin carriage and a prince and princess dancing mural on the wall!). How about a stay at a Frozen Suite? You’ll get your very own Olaf on a snowflake carpet! It’s up to you how you make your stay most memorable.
However, your visit should not be limited to the theme park alone. Services to different Hong Kong sites are offered at the hotel concierge.
