Last September 14, the Glorietta Activity Center was abuzz with parents, children and spectators. All were present to take part in the first leg of live auditions for Season 2 of GMA 7’s children show Ready…Set… Laban. The venue was transformed into a big playground where the kids had fun while waiting for the program to start. The set up included the FUN BOUNCE, HAPPY BOUNCE, BALL-INTERO, PHOTO BOOTH, MILK CORNER and the PLAYHOUSE (where mom and kid tandems were interviewed for a possible appearance on the show).

GMA talents Regine Tolentino and Mikael Daez hosted the event. Participants couldn’t contain their excitement! Energetic kids and their supportive moms gamely took part in the ingenious games (Happy Holen, Jack En Point, Drink It, Wear It, Win It and A Spoonful of Happiness).
NEW SEASON, NEW HOST
Later in the afternoon, Drew Arellano made his appearance. He thanked the people for coming and told the audience how excited he was to be chosen as the new host of Ready… Set… Laban. “Filling in the shoes of Ogie Alcasid (the original host) is a tall order. But I’m so excited and so ready to have fun with the kids! There will be a lot of prizes and surprises! We will also be introducing a home partner segment to the show so that’s something to look forward to ,” a lively Drew said.

The hit mom and kid show will have its second run starting October 5 on GMA 7 every Sunday, at 10:45 am. In the meantime, Mommies, keep on giving BONAKID PRE-SCHOOL to your young kids to keep them healthy and happy!

Milk helps young children in all aspects of development. Of course, children are different from each other. Some develop much faster than the others. The important thing is they are healthy.
