This summer is definitely one of our hottest and most humid yet! While others choose to remain cool indoors with the AC unit on full blast, sun worshippers and beach lovers revel in the outdoors. Kids too are unstoppable and have no care of the harmful effects of the sun.

As a mom of two water loving kids (both are swimmers since birth), I always make it a point to make them wear sunscreen whenever they take a dip in our pool or go to the beach (which we did thrice already this summer). Both have sensitive skin and easily have allergies so it’s very important that I keep them protected and hydrated while they enjoy their time under the scorching heat.

The Céleteque Sun Care Matte Moisturizer (PHP230 50ml) with SPF 30 provides double screen protection against UVA/ UVB rays while keeping the skin hydrated.

The good news is local brand Céleteque has a Sun Care line that’s effective and affordable too. The Celeteque Dermoscience Sun Care range relies on science in developing products that protect the skin from the damaging effects of the sun’s rays. The Céleteque Sun Care Matte Moisturizer (PHP230 50ml) with SPF 30 provides double screen protection against UVA/ UVB rays while keeping the skin hydrated. It’s not greasy when applied and has a matte finish which keeps one looking fresh all day. This makes it ideal to be used by both adults and kids alike, just like in our case.

One other product is the Celeteque Face and Body Sun defense Spray (PHP 449, 100ml). Nobody likes the sticky feel or the “ghost-like” appearance of heavy sunscreen lotions. This spray evenly distributes the solution to the face and body without that icky look-at-me-I’m-wearing-sunscreen appearance. It also provides dual protection against aging (UVA) and burning (UVB) and contains Vitamin E and sunflower oil properties to relieve skin dryness.

The Celeteque Sun Care products are now available in Watsons, PCX and major department stores.
